  • One Named Author
  • Three Desks
  • Primary Sources
  • Dated Checks

Every page on this site is written and reviewed by one named author, Michael Roberts, Casino Gaming Specialist. Three desks feed him checked facts: the Payments desk covers the cashier, the Regulation desk covers the licence and bonus terms, and Withdrawal testing covers payout routes and verification.

Who We Are

Our team is a small editorial group that covers one casino for one country: Caxino Casino for players in New Zealand. The narrow scope lets us read the full terms instead of the banner.

The site has a single named author. Michael Roberts writes each guide, reviews it before it goes live and signs it with his byline. Behind him sit three desks, described here as functions because that is what they are: each one owns a slice of the facts and hands it over with the source attached. You can read more about the project on the About page.

  • Michael Roberts

Casino Gaming Specialist - author and reviewer

Michael writes and reviews every page on this site, from the game guides to the cashier pages. He decides what a page has to answer, turns the desks' notes into plain English and gives the final sign-off. His profile is on the About page.

  • Payments Desk

    Cashier checks

This desk owns the cashier numbers: which methods NZ players see, the minimum for each, whether a fee applies and which way the money can travel. Deposit-only methods are flagged.

  • Regulation Desk

    Licence and terms

This desk looks up the operator in the Malta Gaming Authority register and matches the company name and licence number with what the casino shows. It also reads the bonus terms line by line and notes which version of them a page is based on.

    Covers

    Regulator register, terms pages
    Review cycle

  • Withdrawal Testing

    Payout paths and verification

This desk walks each payout path on paper: which method a withdrawal returns to, what the stated time frame is and which documents the first cash-out calls for. Every step is tested against the published cashier pages and terms, not against a live account.

    Each fact check

Desks collect and verify, the author writes and answers for the result. If a desk cannot confirm a number from a primary source, it does not go on the page.

How We Fix Mistakes

Casino terms change, and now and then we simply get something wrong. When a figure on a page stops matching the source, the fix follows the same route every time.

A correction can start with a reader pointing out a mismatch or with our own re-check. Either way the desk that owns the fact opens the primary source again. If the page is wrong, Michael corrects the figure everywhere it appears and re-reads the page as a whole.

  • Numbers are corrected to match the current published terms, never rounded in the casino's favour or ours.
  • A claim we can no longer confirm is removed or replaced with "not published".
  • Wording that could mislead is rewritten even when the number itself was right.

The three dates in the byline

Every page ends with the author byline and three dates. Each does a different job.

  • Published

The day the page first went live. It is fixed and never changes afterwards.

  • Last updated

Moves only when the text is really edited - a corrected figure, a new section, a rewritten answer.

  • Facts checked

The date of the last verification against the sources. It can move while the text stays the same.

Review Criteria and Their Weights

We look at a casino through six criteria. The weights below are our own methodology - they show how much attention each area gets, and they add up to 100%.

  • Licence and safety25%
  • Payments25%
  • Bonus terms20%
  • Games15%
  • Support10%
  • Mobile5%

Licence and payments carry half of the weight together because they decide whether your money is looked after and whether it comes back to you. Bonus terms come next: a headline offer means little until you know the wagering, the time limit and the maximum bet. Games, support and mobile play share the remaining 30%.

  • Licence and safety: the regulator, the licence number, the company behind the brand and the dispute body named in the terms.
  • Payments: methods available in NZ$, minimums, fees and how withdrawals are routed and verified.
  • Bonus terms: wagering, validity, bet limits and how much each game type counts.
  • Games: the size of the lobby, the studios named and whether demo play is offered.
  • Support: channels, opening hours and language.
  • Mobile: how the site runs in a phone browser.

We do not boil these weights down to a single score for Caxino on this page. A number out of ten hides the detail a player needs, so each guide spells out the findings in words and figures instead.

Our Verification Protocol

Before a fact reaches a page it passes the same six steps. It is short on purpose, so our team follows it every time.

  1. 1
Open the primary source: the operator's published pages and terms, or the regulator's public register. Other review sites are not a source.
  2. 2
Match names and numbers: the company name and licence number in the register must agree with what the casino states.
  3. 3
Read the full terms: wagering, validity, maximum bet and game contribution are taken from the terms text, not from the promo banner.
  4. 4
Cross-check the cashier: each method is recorded with its direction, minimum and fee, and deposit-only methods are marked.
  5. 5
Date the check: the verification date goes into the notes and then into the Facts checked line of the byline.
  6. 6
Author sign-off: Michael Roberts reads the finished page against the desk notes before it is published.

Two rules sit on top of the steps. Anything we cannot confirm is written as "not published" - the maximum withdrawal amount for NZ accounts is the standing example. And we describe our method as it is: a check of documents and public records, so you will not find staged account screenshots or stopwatch claims here.

How Our Team Works card: one named author, three specialist desks, facts from primary sources, three dates on every page

Our Latest Check: What We Verified and When

The most recent full check was done on 3 October 2026. Four areas were compared with their sources that day, and the table shows what each one confirmed.

Date of check3 October 2026
LicenceGranturo Malta Ltd, MGA/B2C/1079/2025, in the Malta Gaming Authority public register
Welcome bonus terms100% up to NZ$200 + 100 free spins, 35x wagering, NZ$10 minimum deposit, 60 days
NZ cashierDeposits from NZ$10, withdrawals from NZ$20, bank transfer from NZ$50, no casino fees
Support channels24/7 live chat and email in English, no phone line
Maximum withdrawalNot published for NZ

The licence was checked in the Malta Gaming Authority register, where the entry for Granturo Malta Ltd carries the number MGA/B2C/1079/2025. The bonus figures come from the published terms of the Caxino welcome offer: one first deposit, a 100% match up to NZ$200 and 100 free spins, with 35x wagering and 60 days to complete it.

On the cashier we went through the NZ list method by method. Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity and Payz work both ways, Paysafecard and CashtoCode are for deposits only, and bank transfer is a withdrawal route. The full breakdown, with time frames per method, is on our withdrawal limits page.

What this check is - and is not

Facts are compared with the operator's published pages and terms and with the regulator's register. We did not make real-money test deposits, time a withdrawal or photograph an account, and we do not present the check as if we had.

How to Reach Us

This is an independent guide, not the casino. We do not handle accounts, deposits or withdrawals, and we cannot look up a payment or a verification status for you.

For anything tied to your account, go straight to the casino's own support: live chat and email run around the clock in English. Our Caxino contact guide explains where to find each channel and what to have ready so the first reply solves the problem.

We also do not publish an email address, a form or a phone number for the editorial team. Where our text and the casino's current terms differ, the casino's terms are the ones that apply, and the page is brought into line at the next fact check.

Questions About the Team

Who writes the pages on this site?

Michael Roberts, Casino Gaming Specialist, writes and reviews every page. He is the only named author here. The three desks are functions that prepare and check facts for him, not separate bylines.

Does the team test Caxino Casino with real money?

No. Our method is a document check: we compare every figure with the operator's published pages and terms and with the Malta Gaming Authority register. We do not claim test deposits, timed withdrawals or account screenshots, and where a number is not published we say so.

How do I know a page is up to date?

Look at the byline at the bottom of the page. It carries three dates: Published, Last updated and Facts checked. The last one tells you when the numbers were last compared with the sources, even if the text itself did not need a change.

What happens when a figure turns out to be wrong?

The figure is checked against the primary source again, corrected on every page where it appears, and the Last updated date moves to the day of the edit. We do not quietly rewrite a page and keep the old date.

Can the team help with my Caxino account or a payout?

No. This site is an independent guide and has no access to accounts, deposits or withdrawals. Account questions go to the casino's 24/7 live chat or email - our contact guide shows how to get to the right channel quickly.

Why is there no score for Caxino Casino on this page?

This page explains the method, not the verdict. The weights show what matters most when we assess a casino; the findings themselves are written out in plain words in each guide, for example on the withdrawal limits page.
